Aluminum Tube and Aluminum Fin Coil Construction - Provides time-tested and proven heat transfer efficiency designed to resist potential corrosion.
Grooved Aluminum Tubing - Offers increased surface area for efficient heat transfer performance by the unit's refrigerant.
Every Unit Is Helium Pressure - Tested - During assembly to help ensure high levels of product quality. Helium is used, in part, because its molecules are smaller than oxygen. It's just one extra step taken to help ensure a high quality product.
Every All-Aluminum Coil - Receives finished pressure testing and leak sniffing by hound-dog vacuum testing. This is a secondary test every unit receives before it leaves the factory.

The GMES96 multi-speed furnace uses a pair of steel heat exchangers to convert 96% of the energy used into comfort, Goodman's highest mark for a single-stage furnace. Instead of a standard multi-speed blower motor, the GMES96 utilizes an ECM motor, which uses less power and provides smarter circulation.
Advanced Heat Exchanger Design
The GMES96 furnace employs a reliable heavy-duty tubular heat exchanger design. Aluminized steel is used in construction for incredibly efficient heat transfer and wrinkle-bend technology for extraordinary durability.
Secondary Heat Exchanger
This furnace produces additional heat by directing combustion gases through a secondary heat exchanger before they are vented. The secondary heat exchanger is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and it is sloped to prevent condensate build-up.
Multi-Speed ECM Motor
The GMES96's energy efficient blower motor uses the lowest speed it can to deliver precise temperature control for your home while keeping utility bills to a minimum.

Self-Diagnostic Control Board

Secure Cabinet
All GMES96 furnaces are protected by a durable steel cabinet rated for less than 2% air leakage. The heat exchanger section is lined with foil-insulation to prevent heat loss and the return side of the cabinet is solid and airtight.

The Goodman GSX140481 Air Conditioner Condenser to keep you cool on even the hottest summer days. The high efficiency compressor operates in tandem with a high-efficiency coil, cooling your home effectively. And if that's not enough, Goodman goes one step farther: they install a liquid-line filter dryer in every air conditioner we build. The filter dryer prevents moisture and debris from entering the compressor motor and expansion device, thus helping to extend the life of the system. Many manufacturers leave this step out, but Goodman install filter dryers in all of our air conditioners.
