In 24 hours, the unit can make 1,543 pounds of ice. With CleanCycle24® technology, sediment is removed from ice with a 2-second flush cycle each hour. Infrared bin control uses a sensor to measure the ice levels, halting ice production when the bin, which is sold separately, is full. Made of stainless steel, the auger and exterior have durability and rust resistance. The Hoshizaki F-1501MAJ ice machine head uses R404A refrigerant to keep temperatures cool.
