The Hoshizaki KM-1900SRJ3 crescent cube ice machine head is powered by remote refrigeration, an ideal design if the ice machine is in an area frequented by customers since it eliminates heat and noise from the environment. The air filter and panels are removable for cleaning and maintenance. The evaporator and exterior are constructed of stainless steel, which makes them resistant to corrosion and other damage and is easy to clean.

To lengthen the life of the machine, the CycleSaver™ feature produces the same amount of ice as competitors in half as many cycles by making ice on both sides of the evaporator. Internal components inhibit the growth of microbes and bacteria between routine cleanings thanks to the built-in H-Guard Plus™ antimicrobial agent. An EverCheck™ alert system lets the operator know when issues arise, so they can be dealt with before a malfunction occurs.

The Hoshizaki KM-1900SRJ3 ice machine head makes crescent cube ice, which can be used for bagging ice or dispensing ice in hotels as well as in beverage service. This ice type is hard and melts slowly, preventing beverages from becoming quickly diluted. This ice machine head can make between 1,700 to 1,933 pounds of ice per day depending on the operating temperatures.
